According to Spanish television it is reported that
Barcelona’s Midfielder Alexis Sanchez is interested to move to European
Champions Chelsea next season. As Chelsea had also joined the race to sign
highly rated FCB midfielder at the end of the season according to reutor.
The Chile international has endured a frustrating campaign
at Camp Nou, failing to convince new Barca’ head coach Tito Villanova of the
qualities, resulting in the wide men spending large parts of the season warming
the substitutes’ bench in Catalonia. And this come hot on the heels of a long
period spent on the sidelines for Alexis in 2012 when the attacker suffered
both an abductor tear and a ligament injury.
As a result Chelsea now want to take the advantage of the
frustration of the Chile midfielder by tabling a big money offer for the
playmaker, whose current contracts with Barcelona runs until May 2016. However
with La Liga’s champions elect having bought Alexis from Udinese for 26 million
Euros two years ago, they are understandably likely to want something similar to
that amount were they to agree to allow the player to leave in this summer.
Sanchez has scored four goals in24 appearances, which of them more than half
were from the bench
